After serving in the U.S. Army as a 68W Combat Medic from 2008 to 2013, Devon Jackson has continued his commitment to serving fellow veterans throughout his civilian career. After leaving the military, he worked with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs before transitioning to his current role as a Veteran Ambassador at Golden Gate University, where he helps military-connected students navigate higher education and their VA education benefits. Devon earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Illinois Chicago and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). He is currently pursuing his MBA at Golden Gate University.

Devon is passionate about helping veterans and military families achieve their academic and career goals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, coaching youth basketball, and giving back to his community in the greater Chicago area.
