A member of Fordham’s Class of 2026 and the daughter of an Air Force service member, Anesiah Watson brings firsthand experience navigating higher education as a military-connected student. She used a combination of the Post-9/11 GI Bill, Chapter 35 Dependents’ Educational Assistance, and the VA Work-Study Program to pursue a bachelor’s degree in anthropology with a minor in religious studies.
Anesiah credits Fordham’s Yellow Ribbon Program and OMVS's support for helping make her education possible. In her new role, she helps military-connected students understand and maximize their educational benefits as they pursue their academic goals.
