Our Mission.

Virtual Veterans Communities is now MissionWise!

In 2020, we set out to improve the educational journeys of military-connected students by supporting the colleges and universities that serve them. These efforts began when the world was struggling to provide quality educational and support services remotely and we were focused on building robust digital communities that met the needs of this unique population. 

Since then, we have worked with a diverse range of colleges and universities across the country, from institutions focused on adult learners to more traditional liberal arts programs. We’ve supported them by combining best practices in marketing, enrollment and persistence with program administration, performance tracking, and institutional capacity building. 

And our partner institutions have thrived. They have grown enrollment and improved student outcomes. They have adopted a scalable, financially self-sustaining approach to meeting the needs of military-connected students. They have tailored their services to each student by combining virtual and in-person modalities. 

To better reflect the scope of services we offer and to convey what this work means to the military-connected students and institutions we serve, we have adopted MissionWise as our new name and guidestar. 

We are excited for this next chapter. We look forward to growing with our current partners and stand ready to assist those who want to increase military-connected student enrollment and better serve those who have served our country. We hope that you will join us.
